The best time to visit Iceland is in summer where the sun shines up to 23 hours a day and the snow is just magnificient, yes, even in summer. Reykjavik is the place to stay and experience the best that Iceland has to offer. It might be the place for your romantic getaways.
Make an effort to visit the Thingvellir Nationpark where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet and stretch apaty. The view is a constrasting mix of green fields on one side and lava terrain on the other.

Say England and its capital city comes to mind. If you're a city-loving couple, you can't go wrong with London. Its trains and underground network system make it a breeze to get around in. You can shop at Harrods, visit Greenich, feed the pigeons at Trafalgar Square and buy tickets to a West End show - all in a day.

Italy is more than pasta and Prada, it is the country of art. The highest concentration of beautiful art can be found in the city of Florence, where visitors have been known to pass out because of its overwhelming beauty - from what is called the Stendhal Syndrome.
Turn your honeymoon into one where you explore all the great art cities in Italy. Get your fill of Raffaello, Michelangelo, Tiziano, Canova and many more. Besides admiring the great works of art, you can also visit places that have been designated as World Heritage Sites by the United Nations' cultural division, UNESCO. - Rock Drawings in Lombardy - Historic Centre of Florence - Venice and its Lagoon - Piazza del uomo in Tuscany - The Botanical Garden, Orto Botanica, in Padua - The Amalfi Coast - City of Verona
A best choice for your romantic vacation.
France
"We'll always have Paris" is the line couples love to borrow from the movie Casabalaca to indicate that Paris is the place where they've had the best time of their romance life. That's why, if anything, courting couples and newly-weds should start their lives together on a romantic note.
What is it about Paris that makes people fall all the more in love? Maybe it's the old movies that used Paris as a backfrop, or the many romance novels written with Paris or France as the location for star-crossed lovers to meet, or maybe it's the Eiffel Tower, the River Sienne, the Louvre, Montmarte and many more. Whatever the reasons, we have at somepoint found something in Paris to fall in love with.
ASIA
Asia may seem mysterious to have your honeymoon, but we assure you that you can find your honeymoon becoming exotic in Asia.
Bali
This idyllic place is the perfect spot to get all lovey-dovey as the island has a mysterious magical air. You might even be inspired to get married all over again - a beach wedding in Bali is something you only read about in society magazines.
After all, the beaches of Kuta, Senggigi, Candi Dasa and Sanur are lengendary. Kuta is where you can watch the best sunsets in the world, which have often left throngs of beach dudes and babes mesmerised.
You'll never starve in Bali 'cos you can dine on everything from Balinese fare to fine Western dining. After that, you can adjourn to one of the many bars fronting the beaches.
Accomadations are in abunudance and in an equally huge variety that ranges from comforable to the ultra secluded. Pick one that will suit the type of honeymoon you want.
And there's the shopping that will have you buying everything from surf wear, to sarongs, to accessories, to homeware. Jalan Seminyak iss a must-go.
If you are thinking to have your honeymoon is Asia, Bali will be one of the best choice for a romantic honeymoon.
Koh Samui
Lolling about on the beach can get boring, yes, even for lovebirds. Our advice is to rent jeeps or scooters and explore as much of this charming island as possible. Make periodic stops and try riding an elephant, playing a round of mini golf, shooting some rounds at the firing range...and you definitely have to do some snorkelling.
If you love Thai food, take home the flavour of Thailand by enrolling in Thai cooking classes at the Samui Institute of Thai Culinary Arts. Its hands-on cooking classes are taught in an air-conditioned facility, with you properly outfitted in an apron, after which you can sit down and enjoy the fruits of your labour. Certainly a flavourful way to remember your honeymoon.
Bintan
It would be remiss to talk about honeymoon destinations without mentioning the Banya Tree in Bintan. In fact, this place is so romantic that we suggest you not only have your honeymoon here but your wedding as well.
A private villa will be decorated, a celebrant will be provided and you'll get the champagne and dinner as well. And the view? The magnificent South China Sea.
AMERICA
It's a vast country that has much to offer, whatever your choice of honeymoon might be. There is plenty to see, explore, buy and eat. You can surely find thousands of things to do together.
Hawaii
The very name conjures up images of romance, and rightfully so, since most couples choose this magical island to honeymoon in. Even in animated form (Lilo & Stitch). Hawaii has its pulling power. You can either spend your days surfing or lazing by the pool, or yo can take your time exploring the many sights of Hawaii.
Since the island is steeped in history, you can find out the beginnings of the island by visting its temples that tell amazing stories in themselves. There's also the Pearl Harbour Museum where you can get a true account of what actually happened on 7 Dec 1942.
Then there are always the famous luau, or take a few days to learn how to do the hula while your husband learn how to twirl those fire sticks...or maybe not if he has butter fingers.
Las Vegas
Gambling and glittering performances make a nice backdrop to your honeymoon vacations in Las Vegas. Even if you don't gamble, a visit to the various casinos is a lesson in architecture and design. The ones not to be missed are the Bellagio, Aladdin, Caesars Palace and Harrah's. The buffets at these hotels are reasonable because they want your money on the roulette table.
Check the daily newspaper to find out what live acts are performing and make your booking. But of course, the legendary Sigfried And Roy has become a permanent act at Vegas.
Shop at the factory outlet just outside the main busy gambling strip. Even you rhusband will love the shopping here 'cos he can get himself suited up in anything from workwear, to casuals, to footwear, to sportswear.
New York City
In the city that doesn't sleep, you can definitely fill your days with plenty of things to do so that you will have plenty of exciting memories to take home. The must-do in the city is to get tickets to some of the best Broadway shows. Even off Broadway productions are worth watching.
The sights to take in are City Hall, the Statue of Liverty and Ellis Island. Not to be missed too are two of the most active ethnic communities in New York - Chinatown and Little Italy.
What's a trip to New York without shopping? Do a Carrie Bradshaw and shop to your heart's content.
San Francisco
The home of hippiedom, Haight-Ashbury to be specific, this place doesn't get more Bohemian than those kids on That 70s Show. There are bookshops here where you can find rare books or titles that have been out of print. Then rest your eyes a little at the many cafes where you can have a latte and watch the world go by.
After that, get your fill of seafood at Fisherman's Wharf. Take a cruise that takes you as close as you can get to the Golden Gate Bridge and understand why it is called thus.
Then there's Alcatraz standing as a reminder of a cruel past gone by on an island all by its lonesome self. But do book early, as the Alcatraz tour proves to be extremely popular.
AUSTRALIA
There is much to explore in this country because of the divers cultures brought in by the immigrants, and of course, how it all comes together in te form of fashion, food and lifestyle that are all distincly Australian.
Melbourne
This vibrant, cosmopolitan city is where you can expect to find some of the finest boutiques, department stores and restaurants, as well as beautiful buildings cathedrals and other architectural achievements.
But perhaps the true romance of Melbourne is found in Country Victoria. For it is here that you find pace of city life considerably slower. The places where you can take your time to sample fine wine, delicious cheeses, great dining and bed and breakfast accommodations that make you feel right at home.
The places you have to visit are the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, Port Campbell and Port Fairy. And if you tell the folks you meet along the way that you're on your honeymoon, they'll be all warm and friendly towards you.
Sydney
It's hard to pinpoint exactly why Sydney is a great place to honeymoon. Perhaps it's because you have to experience it to learn its magic. Still, here are 10 reasons to fall in love with Sydney ad oh yes, each other.

And this is done via a cup that has no handles, so what you have to do is caress the cup in the palm of your hands as if you would a priceless object and bring it to your lips.
8. Balloon Aloft Australia because you both can float among the clouds and look at the landscape consisting of pristine wineries and kangaroos shaking off slumber getting ready to face another day.

NEW ZEALAND
Because New Zealand is a huge place (The Lord of the Rings Part one and two were filmed here), you have to plan your trip way in advance and decide on what activities or sights for you two.
Perhaps the place that should not be missed is the city of sails itself, Auckland. It has developed a personality all its own and has attractions that will touch all your five senses.
It has beautiful sweeping scenarios, vineyards and wineries of international standards, dining options that range from Asian to Western, plus an abundance of nature with adventures that stretch the imagaination.
SOUTH AFRICA
Before you plan your trip to South Africa, a good book to read is Long Walk To Freedom by Nelson Mandela. This will give you an understanding of its past that has shaped the country today.
Be sure to visit Mandela's home in Johannesburg, which has been turned into a museum.
Cape Town
Your next stop is Cape Town; it's a city that is as vibrant as any cosmopolitan cities found anywhere else in this world. One romantic thing we can suggest is to visit Table Mountain.
